It's Been Too Long...

Hello visitors to this little corner of the web. Sorry for the long delay in posting anything...I've been crazy busy. Ian even removed his link to my blog on this site when I didn't post for over a week...sorry Ian. :) So....on with the fun!!!

MINNESOTA:
Took a trip with my lovely lady to her family's home in Audubon, Minnesota. It's @ 4 hours northwest of the Twin Cities in lake country. In a word...BEAUTIFUL!!! Had a great time meeting her sisters, brother and brothers-in-law. Learned a lot about Minnesota too...did you know that they drive on their lakes in the winter!!!?!?!?! That just plain freaked out this Ohio boy!!! I don't know...something about a 3500 pound car or even heavier truck driving over ice. Yeah...sure it's over a foot deep...but still. Has anyone else seen "What Lies Beneath"...yeah...lakes and cars do not make a good combination. As for me, no thank you, I'll stick to the roads.

APEX:
March 9th was our first official day in our new facility @ 5200 Far Hills Avenue...and let's just say that God made EVERYTHING happen. It's so awesome to sometimes just sit back and watch the Creator of the universe do His thing and see what happens. Julie, a dear friend of mine, had an AMAZING day on Sunday...her dad gave his life to the Lord. My peeps...that's what it's all about!!!

A NEW FAMILY MEMBER ON THE WAY:
Well...my brother and new sister-in-law have some very exciting news...they're about to be new parents...of a dog!!! Tom (that's my brother, for those of you who are slow on the uptake in figuring that out) called me tonight and told me they're picking up their new puppy on Sunday the 16th!! Good for them!

COOL OPPORTUNITY:
My brother-in-law and one of my best friends are getting involved in something really cool. It's called the Federal Chamber of Commerce and you can check out my brother-in-law's website out here. I'm really not as good at explaining it as he is so I'll also give you his e-mail addy here. In my best explanation...it's basically like merging AAA, medical benefits, and a TON of other savings programs all into one...very cool stuff! And the price can't be beat! The Purpose Driven Life...our entire church body is going through the 40 days of purpose together right now and God is completely changing lives through it...CHECK THIS BOOK OUT!!!

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers game for X-Box...never has a game so seamlessly merged the movie action to a game console. Very fun...very challenging...and VERY immersing!!! If you've got a PS2, Cube or X-Box check this game out...way too much fun!!
